HEWITT SAYS GRASS COURT TENNIS HAS CHANGED

Former champ Lleyton Hewitt feels that Wimbledon has been negated by the nature of grass-court.hewitt is one of the two men playing this year the other one bein roger federer who have lifted the title..The 28-year-old, who faces Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro on Court today. From the last ten years since ive started playing nowadys in grass courts the balls are slowing down a lot which makes it easier for the freshers to prove themself.

When i started playing the balls were quick on to the racket. But now even federer while playing in grass court plays most of the shots from the back end of the court. But even now there is a bit chance on grass courts to know the the shots and the craft of playing.he added"its better to stay in my game rather than thinkin about how others are going to prove.Over five sets on grass anythin can happen so its better to make even single oppurtunity count for it.

Federer broke in disposing Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-2 6-26-4 on Centre Court.federer said"I expected a harder match because he's been playing well.. he reached the semis there. Federer who takes of Philipp Kohlschreiber in the last 32.
