
FIFA world cup 2010, the very biggest sports event on the world kicks off with the massive opening ceremony at Johannesburg. R Kelly's stunning performance made the audience jumps off at the stadium. The crowd reaches a number of more than 84000 at the opening ceremony. Kelly performance was the highlight with his Soweto Spiritual Singers.
Though the start of FIFA 2010 at South Africa was great, absence of Nelson Mandela for the inauguration is of great miss for the FIFA inaugural event. Absence is because Mandela's grand duaghter today met with accident and she died in a car crash.

Mr. Zuma was thrilled as he launched opening concert and he thanked FIFA to bring the event first time on African soil. Mr. Zuma said,
“We would like to thank Fifa for the decision to bring the World Cup for the first time to the continent of Africa. We would like to thank South Africans for having received our visitors so warmly. I want to ask you to show this warmness for the whole tournament.”
Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, John Legend, and Shakira steal the show with their magnificent performances. Shakira performed before an international crowd at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto, South Africa, on the first night of the World Cup.Shakira performed “Waka Waka,” which is the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
