Saina Nehwal won Super Series Singapore Open

Saina Nehwal, the Indian Badminton sensation has once again showed her brilliant performance on the Singapore field and clinches her maiden Singapore Open Super Series on Sunday. She played against qualifier Tzu Ying Tsi of Taipei in the final and win the final in straight sets of 21-18, 21-15.


Saina took just 33 minutes to defeat her opponent at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Saina surprises the people by winning back to back titles. She also won two super series events. Last year, she won Indonesia Super Series which brought her huge fame in her career.

Also She won her first Indian Open Grand Prix Gold at Chennai which held at Last Week. The other successful achievements are reaching the semi-finals of the All England Badminton Championships which has equal importance like Wimbledon in this Badminton game. Prakash Padukone was the first Indian man to lift the trophy, followed by Syed Modi and more recently Pulella Gopichand. Additonally Gopi Chand is the present coach to Saina Nehwal.

Saina Nehwal's performance has been increasing steadily and We all hope that she will win many titles like these and she will make Indians to feel proud on her.
