Yusuf Pathan recalled for ODIs against South Africa

Gautam gambhir, an Indian opener moved away with his groin injury from the ODIs against South Africa.Instead Yusuf Pathan, an all-rounder was recalled back to the squad after his consistency performance in the domestic matches.

R Ashwin , the Tamil Nadu off spinner , has been called up along with Mumbai all-rounder Abhishek Nayer.

Because of Yuvraj Singh ligament tear in his wrist, he was already sitting out of the ongoing test against South Africa. Indian team ace spinner Harbhajan Singh was already announced his absence of participation for the first two ODIs because of some personal reason.

N Srinivasan, the secretary of BCCI announced the Indian team squad after he had discussions with Selection committee in Kolkata.

India and South Africa will play the first ODI in Jaipur on February 21, and the second game will be played in Gwalior on February 24. The third game will be played in Ahmedabad on February 27.

Team India for the first two ODIs: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik, Suresh Raina, Yusuf Pathan, Ravindra Jadeja, Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra, Sudeep Tyagi, Praveen Kumar, Abhishek Nayar, Amit Mishra and Ravichandran Ashwin.
