MASTER BLASTER - SACHIN TENDULKAR

The Master Blaster of Indian cricket Sachin Tendulkar has said that he is not satisfied with his performance in the world of cricket, He said his aim is to score 15,000 runs in his test career and win the world cup in 2011.Tendulkar has a record of 12773 test runs at an average of 54.38 from 159 matches. In an interview he has said that Sunil gavaskar has told him to get 15,000 runs he said that if he doesn’t get his runs then he will get angry. Sachin said that he has consistently been playing with pain he added that he has been playing with pain for the last three years. I can still do what i did at 25 but body is changing, so your thought process has to change.

Tendulkar disagreed with Buchanan, the former Australia coach, who felt Tendulkar had become susceptible to the short ball early in his innings because of a lack of footwork.Tendulkar said' If I couldn't handle short deliveries, then I wouldn't be still scoring runs’. Don Bradman said sachin reminded him of himself. When that question was asked to Sachin he said 'Virendar sehwag reminded of him. He admitted life after cricket wouldn't be easy. It has been there for my whole adult life, I can imagine when I finish I will long to face just 10 more balls but you have to move."
