The Indian Young and dynamic girl Dipika Pallikal, a squash player, claim the $8000 Women's International Squash Player's Association title on Saturday. She fought against the higher ranked player Emma Beddoes of UK and won the title with the points 11-9, 11-8, 9-11, 11-6.
Dipika who is eighteen year old has a world rank of 49. In her semi final match, she defeated the top ranked Sharon Wee and rallied back to take the closely fought game.
Placing some brilliant shots and played some powerful shots made The Chennai-born Dipika set the tone in the second game, which also brings the crowd into raptures. It was her first title and she was more energetic and happy.
