Chennai Super Kings, who chose to bat first were not in the momentum at the beginning. The early wicket of Mathew Hayden, who was the highest scorer in last season, took by Ishant Sharma by easy bold created some dull moments in the field for CSK fans. Raina who came into bat next not played upto the expectations. Knight riders were strict on the field and not made CSK to score easily at the beginning level. KKR took three wickets for 55 runs and kept CSK under control.
Later Dhoni and Badrinath’s partnership of more then hundred runs helped Chennai to put a good score against Chennai Super Kings. The two leads the match and brings 109-run partnership off just 55 balls. KKR's last five overs was not good and it produces a whopping 68 runs which made CSK to score 164.
KKR have decided to lose the match after they started losing one by one wickets to CSK bowlers. CSK bowlers dominate the entire KKR's Batting performers and took all the wickets in a line without creating any expectations to KKR's fans. Chennai Super Kings bundled Kolkata Knight Riders for just 109/10.
