R Royals tie up with TCS as tech partner

Rajasthan Royals , the winner of 1st IPL title , have tied with the Indian technology major TCS abbreviated as Tata Consultancy services for the 2nd IPL season. This period would last for three years. TCS act as a technology partner for R Royals.

The officials told media person that the company preferred Rajasthan Royals among eight teams because of their champions status and the importance given by them to technology .

TCS have partnered many sports events over the years. TCS have connected with Ferrari team , NBA and the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon and so on.

Rajasthan Royals Vice Chairman Ranjit Barthakur revealed that this year the IPL first edition champions have roped in a total of nine sponsors which was more than in 2008.
